Brief background

1945 Born in Aarhus, Denmark.

Education: 1965-72 workshops in France, England and Canada.

1972 Started own workshop in Denmark, mainly functional ware.

1989 Teacher at the Design school Kolding.

1994 First “firingsculpture” of which today 19 in Denmark, Australia, Iceland, Italy, Berlin and Slovenia.

1997 Taastrup Theatre, outdoors sculptural group “Catch the Ball”.

1998 Artist in Residence, Academy of the Arts, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

1999 Westerwald Ceramic Museum, Germany: 1.price at European Ceramics '99.

2004 Museum of International Ceramic Art, Denmark: “Voices of Europe”.

2006 Invited Artist, speech and firingsculpture, Pontevedra, Spain.

2007 Crafts - and Design Biennale, Denmark: “Pisces”

2007 Architectural model for contest in Madrid
